Pinot Noir of New Zealand 

I continue to be curious about the world wide love for Pinot Noir. Admittedly Pinot Noir has not always been my first wine choice, nor is it the wine I am going to bring to a dinner party. However after a recent trip to Oregon Willamette Valley I have been charmed and convinced of Pinot's deserved greatness.

For this session I will have just returned from a 2 week escapade in New Zealand Wine Country at Pinot Noir Fest NZ-2025. A media and sommelier symposium focused on the various terroir that make NZ Pinot Noir such a crowd favourite. I will gain deeper insight into the wines, the winemakers and the climate that make this country one of the worlds most premium wine zones for Pinot Noir outside of Burgundy.
